The College of Law at Al-Nahrain University continuously strives to improve the quality of education and scientific research by adopting advanced mechanisms for academic cooperation, most notably research exchange and the external examiner system. These mechanisms aim to enhance international scientific cooperation, develop the research skills of students and researchers, and benefit from the expertise and advanced technologies of host universities. They also support publication in international peer-reviewed journals. Through this, a number of our college lecturers have published joint scientific research with international researchers. In addition, the formation is keen to activate the external examiner program, as Professor Dr. Talal Yassin Abdullah Al-Essa, a lecturer at the Faculty of Law / Ajloun National University in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, was visited. During his visit, he was informed of everything related to quality assurance, including documents and priorities related to the academic description and what is related to the scientific departments, postgraduate studies, examination committees, and methods of discussing university theses and dissertations. During this, the examiner presented a number of proposals that contribute to the development of the educational process, including working on developing plans for improvement and development and increasing the frameworks of scientific cooperation between Iraqi and Arab universities. He also praised the necessity of conducting a periodic evaluation of the college by stakeholders.
