In light of the rapid development in the field of higher education and scientific research, Iraqi universities, led by Al-Nahrain University, are increasingly seeking to enhance scientific cooperation with prestigious international universities. This aims to exchange expertise, develop scientific research outputs, and raise the level of education and academic rankings. International scientific cooperation represents the cornerstone of building an advanced educational system in line with international standards. Investing in this type of cooperation is an urgent necessity to keep pace with scientific and technological changes and achieve sustainable development goals.
This endeavor has been embodied in the College of Law’s conclusion of numerous scientific cooperation memoranda with international universities outside Iraq, including the two scientific cooperation memoranda signed with Petra University and the University of Jordan in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. These agreements resulted in initial meetings with the colleges of law in the above universities to discuss the terms of the agreements and implement them. These agreements include activating joint supervision and scientific evaluation of research and theses, holding workshops and electronic seminars, and reciprocal publication of research.
