Al-Nahrain Law Chairs PhD Dissertation Defense Committee at the University of Baghdad

 

As part of ongoing scientific cooperation among Iraqi universities, a faculty member from the College of Law participated in a PhD dissertation defense.

 

Reaffirming the principle of academic partnership and expertise exchange among higher education institutions in Iraq, the College of Law at Al-Nahrain University continues to strengthen its inter-university collaboration through the active participation of its faculty in examination committees, symposia, and workshops.

 

In this context, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Firas Abdul-Razzaq Hamza, Chaired as the Examination Committee for a PhD dissertation at the College of Law, University of Baghdad. The dissertation, entitled “The Legal Framework for the Rehabilitation of Inmates and Detainees in Correctional Institutions and Its Impact on Social Reintegration: A Comparative Study,” was presented by doctoral candidate Matrood Jiyad Hussein.

 

This participation falls within the framework of fostering scientific cooperation between academic institutions and relevant authorities, thereby contributing to national development efforts and advancing academic excellence
