Support for low-income employees

Employees are the most important asset of any organization, and their psychological and social stability directly impacts their productivity and overall job performance. From this perspective, the importance of providing support to low-income employees emerges to ensure a healthy and safe work environment that fosters institutional loyalty and effectively achieves the organization’s goals. This support is embodied in improving the employee’s quality of life both inside and outside the workplace, raising productivity and job performance, as well as building a humane, stimulating, and stable work environment. Through this, the College of Law at Al-Nahrain University seeks to achieve academic and administrative excellence by caring for all its members and providing psychological and financial support to those with limited incomes. To this end, the college, in both its public and private departments, periodically collects voluntary funds from faculty members to assist employees in need or those facing emergency situations. It also forms special committees for this purpose, including the Social Solidarity Committee, headed by Prof. Dr. Haider Adham Abdul Hadi, which is responsible for providing financial, social, and health support to low-income employees. In the same context, the College of Law seeks to enhance this aspect more effectively by:

1. Establishing an emergency financial support fund for college employees and involving the private sector in supporting the fund through social responsibility initiatives.

2. Providing psychological and social counseling services through specialized support centers on campus.

3. Including employees and their families in comprehensive health insurance programs.

4. Providing medical clinics within the college that provide free or subsidized treatment and counseling services.

5. Launching community initiatives to promote a culture of solidarity and social responsibility.
