AlNahrain rights -in cooperation with Alalamain Institute and the Ministry of Environment-, holds a scientific symposium on environmental pollution.

Under the patronage of Mr. President of Al-Nahrain University: the respectable Professor Dr. Ali Abdulaziz Al-Shawi. and under the supervision of Mr. Dean of College of Law / Al-Nahrain University: the respectable Professor Dr. Firas Abd Al-Razak Hamza.
The Continuing Education Unit, in cooperation with the Alalamain Institute and the Ministry of Environment, held on Thursday (2024/10/23) the specialized symposium “Security and Legal Impacts of Climate Variables. To discuss the effects of climate change and environmental pollution in Iraq and methods to treat them.
One of the goals of the symposium is:
_ Providing justice to the poor and vulnerable people who live in places that are exposed to floods, hurricanes, torrents, landslides, tsunamis and other phenomena.
_ Climate change directly affects the rights enjoyed by humans, so countries must cooperate and unite with each other to protect these rights from climate change; so that humans can exercise those rights without restriction.
The symposium concluded with the need to activate the supervision of the relevant authorities on the various sources of pollution and take legal measures against violators. And to review environmental legislation and related legislation to provide adequate legal protection For rivers, air and all kinds of living organisms.
